Dear Friends,

The August Luncheon Club event is coming soon and promises to be a fascinating foray into ETHICS and GENETICS and its impact on Judaism and on Christianity.

How influenced are we by religion in evaluating genetics? What are the sources of Christian and Jewish belief in that light? Is the Garden of Eden the basis of Christian belief and  Jewish teaching? Bishop Anthony Fisher and Rabbi Jeremy Lawrence will revisit this topic and expound on this fascinating area of scholarship.

Come and listen, question and debate two noted religious scholars in this area of study. You will be much the wiser for attending and having a great intellectual diversion from the week's tasks and toils, taking away with you, knowledge upon which both scholars and interested persons can further reflect.

We look forward to members, members of the public, clerics, students and scholars, attending. For recipients of this email who are scholars or students and academics, we would be grateful if you would post this for others in your faculty and bring it to their attention. For our friends who come to these events,  please let your interested friends know.

For those recipients that are organisations, could you please post this on your bulletin boards, electronic and hard copy and post it also as a link to your website. We would be grateful to know this has been done.

Best regards,

William Szekely
